Brian Domke grew up and completed his primary and secondary education in the rural Finger Lakes region of Central New York, filled with rolling hills, dense woodlands, and many multi-generational family farms. Starting at the age of 13, Brian worked on dairy farms and horse ranches throughout his teen years and has continued to value and enjoy hard work to this day.
After earning his degree from Cornell University, Brian began his full-time professional career as a Landscape Architect. While working for architecture and engineering firms, Brian’s professional roles expanded from that of a licensed designer, to a project manager, a regional manager, and a vice president. Brian then transitioned his career to being the sole proprietor of a small business as part of moving his family to Idaho. Since moving to Idaho, Brian also worked as an engineering manager with Kodiak Aircraft Company (formerly Quest Aircraft Company), where he was honored to help support numerous humanitarian and mission aviation organizations.
Brian has resided in majestic Bonner County, Idaho, since 2014 with his wife of 28-years, Denise, their son, and Brian’s parents. Brian enjoys living a rural lifestyle on his family homestead, working with the soil in their gardens, raising a variety of livestock, pursuing wild game, helping his neighbors, and soaking in the beauty of this rugged land.
As a Conservative Christian Republican, Brian has been inspired ever since his teenage years by the Bible verse in Micah 6:8 to live his life with justice, mercy, and humility to the best of his ability.
”He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?“
Micah 6:8
After relocating to Idaho, Brian has served his local community and the citizens of Bonner County through:
